Sunday School

| Sunday School is held from 9:45 to 10:45 on Sunday Mornings. Teachers and helpers for children's classes are always needed. Flexible schedules allow volunteer to commit to one month, every other Sunday, one quarter, or all year. An approved curriculum is provided.

Children's Church

Nursery

| The nursery by providing a loving, nurturing, and safe environment where children know love and will grow to experience God's love. The nursery committee organizes workers for the nursery during the Sunday 11:00 a.m. service. The nursery is intended to serve children through age 4.

Youth Group Advisors

| Advisors work with youth, grades 6-12, to provide evangelistic opportunities and spritual growth, plan wholesome, Christ-centered activities and foster lifelong friendships with other Christian youth. Activities may include leading worship services, mission trips, team building and various other services to the church

Vacation Bible School

| VBS is an outreach to our community and ministers to the children of our church. The director selects the approved curriculum and coordinates the weeklong event. Many talents can be used, from those who fix snacks to those who lead recreation, story telling, missions, etc.

Sunday School Christmas Program

| This ministry delivers a Christmas message using the gifts and talents of our congregation. A volunteer selects the program and organizes the event.

Education Committee

| The Education Committee meets quarterly to evaluate and assist with Sunday School, VBS, membership classes, and teacher training opportunities.

Camp Brethren Woods

| Spiritual Gifts: | Communication, Organization |
| Brethren Woods' summer program is based on small group camping with an emphasis on creating and nuturing Christian community living. Campers learn how to function in a group, sharing feelings, experiences, and their faith. Planned programs offer different levels of adventure on and off the Brethren Woods site.

| Other Programs
| We are always open to new ideas and ways to reach and encourage our youth. We charter a Boy Scout group that meets at the church and our facilities are used by the home school groups SAIL and HOW (Homeschoolers of Winchester). Information and contact numbers are available in the church office.
