Building for the Glory of God

The Lay Shepherding program is vital to a growing active church. This program is one of the most important aspects for Christians to be a part of in this world of temptations and turmoil. Close Christian friendships are found in a small group study.

For new folks in the Calvary family or those who have been here a long time, small group shepherding is a fine way to have consistent study in the Word and fellowship with believers. It is important to have a nucleus of folks to be part of and share in Christian responsibilities - prayer concerns are shared praise happenings are shared, meals are provided when one has need. This list is just the beginning of the closeness that is enjoyed by a small group study.

There are folks in the church whose only family in the Winchester area is the small group. This is a wonderful substitute for the family "back home".

There are Bible study groups that meet several days or evenings a week thereby making it convenient for most everyone to be part of the program There are new groups / new studies which form from time to time If you would like to be part of one of these groups please contact the church office at 662-2350 evening In addition there are new groups forming.
